Have you noticed recent changes in your balance or ability to walk? Many people with gait and balance problems describe trouble walking (especially in the yard or on the beach), holding on to furniture as they walk through their home, fear of falling or episodes of falling, difficulty getting in and out of the shower, and difficulty navigating stairs. These symptoms can lead to decreased mobility, a decline in participation in activities outside the home, and loss of strength. At CBPT our therapists are prepared to help. Following a comprehensive gait and balance assessment to determine your specific areas of difficulty, you will be given a personalized program to improve your confidence, balance, and mobility. Treatments may include:

  • Therapeutic Exercise

  • Gait Training
